WHAT CAN HAPPEN WITH THE POWER OF COLLECTIVE GIVING?

If you donate $200 to a charity, you wonder if you're making a difference.  But when 100 people donate $200 at the same time, they raise $20,000 for  a worthy cause.  That's impact.  And it only takes an hour.

No volunteering, no telemarketing, no event planning, no silent auction donations to solicit.  Simply a great way to give back right in our own community.  Come join with us.

THIS IS PERFECT FOR YOU IF:

  • You want to help those in need in Tecate, but cannot personally commit a lot of time or resources
  • You want to increase the dollar impact of your own generous contribution by pooling it with others and having it go directly to the charities
  • You want an opportunity to meet and do something of value with your new neighbors
  • You want to get to know your new community a little better
And all you need to do is give $200 and one hour of your time twice a year.

MEMBERS CAN VIEW AND VOTE FROM ANYWHERE!

Members can always view the three charity presentations and vote for their favorites.  Our in-person meetings are always available on Zoom, and members can vote in real time. Look for specific details about how to register for either the in-person or the Zoom in the email a week before the meeting.​

What happened at our November 2025 meeting?
Wednesday, November 5 was the third meeting of 100 Who Care Tecate.  Due to circumstances within their organizations, two of our presenting nonprofits withdrew their nominations but are hoping to present at a future date. We look forward to them participating when the time is right.

Because of the late timing, we were unable to secure and vet alternates in time for the November meeting. But we heard from one worthy local nonprofit, the Sean Eduardo Sanchez (SES) tennis center, and they received our biggest financial reward of $17,213 this time.

CAREM (Tecate Community Museum) received $1839 ($500 from our circle and some additional personal donations) and Hospital Infantil de las Californias received $500. We hope to hear from them both in the future.
